How does ClimateCamp speed up Carbon Footprint Calculation

We combine in-house GHG experts with advanced AI to speed up the process. Our algorithms automatically detect data gaps, convert units for calculation, and suggest the most likely emission factors—making your data upload faster and more accurate. This can reduce the time spent on emissions calculation between 60%-80%

Why should I gather primary data from suppliers?

There are three key reasons to gather primary data from suppliers:

1. Accurately estimating Scope 3. Industry averages can't accurately calculate the actual impact of every, unique value chain and may undervalue the progress your suppliers are already achieving.

2. Drive supplier action. Requesting primary data sends a clear signal: carbon matters in your procurement decisions. This pushes suppliers to step up and accelerates reduction across your value chain as well as helps you leverage lower carbon alternative products.

3. Meet SBTi requirements – If over 40% of your footprint is in Scope 3, you’ll need a supplier engagement target. That means asking at least two-thirds of your suppliers (by emissions) to commit to setting their own science-based targets.

What happens after we sign up?

We schedule a kick-off meeting within the first week after signing. During this session, we align on your goals, data availability, and timeline. From there, we start the carbon footprint calculation and prepare for supplier engagement.

How can I easily share data from the platform?

We make data sharing flexible and secure:

- Manual exports –Prefer the old-school route? You can export your data in structured Excel or CSV format whenever needed.

What happens to my data if we cancel? 

If you choose to cancel, we’ll provide you with all your data in a pivotable Excel format, so you can retain your carbon footprint records. Just make sure to give written notice at least 30 days before the renewal date.

How does renewal and invoicing work? 

ClimateCamp is a yearly subscription which runs for one year from the date of sign-up. After that, it automatically renews for additional one-year terms unless you cancel in writing at least 30 days before the end of the current term. After signing you’ll receive an invoice for the full annual fee as outlined in your quote, payment is due according to the terms in your agreement and all fees are exclusive of VAT, which will be added if applicable.
